Jacob is an attorney with Betts Patterson Mines and a member of the Insurance Defense Practice group. Jacob is a native of Washington state and is a graduate of Concordia University – Portland where he earned a Bachelor in Business Administration while minoring in Finance.
While completing his undergraduate education, Jacob was a left-handed pitcher at both the Junior College and Division II level. After finishing his athletic career and undergraduate education, Jacob attended the University of Washington School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor. During his time in law school, Jacob received Pro Bono recognition for his work with the Unemployment Law Project in Seattle where he advocated for workers in Washington state, advancing their economic security during periods of unemployment. Jacob gained valuable experience from interning, volunteering, and partaking in independent legal study projects.
In his free time, Jacob is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys attending Mariners, Seahawks, and Kraken games.
