Jessica Wilcox

Jessica is an attorney in Betts, Patterson & Mines’ Portland office.  Her practice focuses on employment law, including defense work under D&O and E&O policies as well as disability and accommodation, employee complaints and grievances, wage and hour issues, employee leaves, employee counseling and discipline, and discrimination and harassment. She also has experience with securities, products liability, and complex litigation.

Jessica graduated from Willamette University College of Law in 2012. Throughout law school, Jessica worked for the Trial Division at the Oregon Department of Justice. Prior to joining the firm, Jessica worked for the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries – Civil Rights Division, Oregon School Boards Association and other reputable litigation firms in Portland. She has litigated high profile disputes, including the first marijuana RICO claim in Oregon and the on-going Aequitas lawsuits. She is currently a Vice-Chair of Oregon Associate of Defense Counsel – New Lawyers Section.
